Description

Protective Tactics2: Drills to build the skills needed to effectively defend yourself and others in varied environments This class is by invitation only and Skillbuilder 3 is a required prerequisite, as the foundational knowledge you learned in all 3 skill-builders will be necessary. Safety is going to be of utmost importance as we will be working into drills where muzzle discipline and finger discipline are critical. We are going to make you work on the cognitive as well as the physical manipulation...and we will push your envelope! This will be fun and challenging, and you will develop not only muscle memory but your way of managing situations. Emphasis will be on shot accountability, use of movement, speed, decision making, and tactics. ProTac2 is going to focus on the skills you will need to possess to defend yourself in various environments. We will use both AR-15 Rifles as well as your Pistol. If you do not have an AR-15 or have not taken our AR-15 class, you can still participate with only your pistol. In addition to focused shot placement at various distances and performance with an elevated heart rate while practicing situational awareness, we will introduce barricade use and tactics as well as target discernment. You will also drill on weapons transitions methods and tactics. Pre-Requisite: Skill-Builder 3 Materials: - Outside the Waistband (OWB) holster...kydex or some form of plastic recommended - Magazine holder strongly recommended...magazines in pockets will slow you down...and...it is time to bring your game to a new level. - Semi-Automatic Pistol with at least 2 magazines...more if you have them (3 is ideal) - AR-15 Rifle or AR Pistol, with 2 magazines. - 200 rounds practice ammo for your Pistol...bring more if you have it just in case (You know how we work). - 100 rounds of Rifle ammo for your AR-15...Unsure of exactly how much we go through, but you will definitely be making a lot of noise. - Hat ...baseball type or anything with a brim. -Hearing Protection - Eye Protection -Closed-Toe shoes - Water....you will need it Any tactical pistol /Rifle gear you would like to work with or try out in the drills, feel free to bring it.
