Press release from the Village of Shorewood: March 7, 2022 Our zoning code sets the foundation for how our commercial districts look and feel, including regulations from building types, placement, form and size that relate to aesthetics, walkability, safety and overall character.  The Village of Shorewood and the consultant team from CodaMetrics and Duncan and Associates will be hosting the first of three public workshops associated with the Village's Commercial Zoning Update on Thursday, March 31 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. This project will introduce form-based elements to our zoning, which will prescribe standards on the physical character and use of future redevelopments and how they interact with the public realm and adjacent neighborhoods.  As residents, your input on this topic is important! Plan on attending this introductory public workshop to learn more about this important update and provide direction to the project consultants as they begin their work.
