Head-On Crash In Round Lake Park Injures Two

ROUND LAKE PARK, IL — Two people were hospitalized Friday after a head-on crash in Round Lake Park stemming from what police believe was an impaired driver. According to Lake and McHenry County Scanner, crews with the Round Lake Park Police Department, Greater Round Lake Fire Protection District and Grayslake Fire Department were called to a two-car crash around 10:10 p.m. Friday on Route 134. The crash involved a Cadillac SRX and a Chrysler 300 sedan, and happened in front of the Pizza Place between Macgillis Drive and Porter Drive, the news report added. One of the drivers had to be extricated by firefighters, and both were taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with non-life-threatening injuries.
