"Heat Pumps 101" Are you curious about heat pumps? Do you have a heating or cooling system which is nearing the end of its life? Have you been thinking about installing a cooling system so that you no longer need to use those noisy, bulky, inefficient window air conditioning units? The Medfield Energy Committee and Medfield Environment Action are hosting a virtual webinar on Heat Pumps 101 on Tuesday, Mar 22nd. The program will include information on heating and cooling with energy efficient heat pumps and will also go over Eversource's Mass Save Program offerings including all the new and incredible offers around Heat Pumps and how to access them. A representative from the HeatSmart Alliance https://heatsmartalliance.org will provide an overview of how heat pumps work and how they can help Medfield reach our Net Zero 2050 Goal. Installing heat pumps when your heating or cooling system needs to be replaced, referred to as a natural transition point, or when you want to add air conditioning to your home is one of the most effective ways to reduce your carbon footprint. The Mass Save Program offers no interest or low interest loans to eligible customers as well as rebates and other incentives.
