GRAYSLAKE, IL — The District 127 Board of Education is expected to vote Thursday on whether to move forward with a plan to return to school with remote learning in place, superintendent Mikkel . School administrators have recommended e-learning over a hybrid or in-person model after deciding there were "too many health concerns to safely bring staff and students into the buildings for instruction," according to the District 127 website. Administrators are recommending Grayslake North and Central students return with remote learning in place through the first quarter. The district may implement its hybrid model in the second quarter "depending on the health situation in the community," according to the D127 website.
