GRAYSLAKE, IL — The adage 'not all heroes wear capes' is one that's apparent in society now, more than ever. We want to hear about the 'heroes' who are helping your community get through these changing times. Patch has partnered with Ring to shine a spotlight on the neighborhood heroes who are making a difference in their communities, whether it's the clerk at your local grocery store who went above and beyond to help you, the nurse who tended to a sick family member or the stranger who showed you a moment of kindness. Let us know about those making a difference by filling out the form below, and we'll be happy to share their impact with the rest of the community. Contributions big and small are important and valued. Here are some examples of local heroes who we have featured: 'Caring' Hero Sews More Than 1,000 Masks Amid PandemicStudents Provide Needed Groceries To Local FamiliesClarendale Front Liners Keep Spirits Up: Algonquin HeroesPre-K Teachers 'Tirelessly Educate, Nurture': Patch Heroes Thank you for nominating someone who makes your neighborhood a better place.
