Looking to play and connect with other musicians, poets, dancers and various other creative souls? Go to the Unity of Las Vegas website Events tab and find the open mic, The Listening Room. We do it every second Friday, 7 to 9, each month. The next is this Friday, March 11th. This is a safe space in which the audience provides the performers a high level of respect in the form of the quality of attention. It's ground for the budding artist or jamming with the pros. Performers arrive early and write their name on the big board reserving a 10 minute slot, There are 12, 10 minute slots over the two hours. We have sound equipment. Call me, Mike, with questions. Both audience and new performers are welcome. RSVP appreciated, not necessary. Bring your open mind and heart.
