BERKELEY, CA — A man who was seriously wounded by gunfire last week remains hospitalized as of Monday morning, Berkeley police said. Officers at around 7:10 p.m. on Friday responded to the 2100 block of Seventh Street on a report of gunfire, police sad. Arriving officers found the victim laying in the street, police said. Officers performed lifesaving measures on the man until the Fire Department arrived, according to police. The man was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, police said.
