Our MKE-based cover band is looking for a new drummer to replace our existing member, as he will be leaving the band in early 2022. You are hopefully comfortable singing harmonies on several songs, so some vocal skill is a big plus. WE LOVE HARMONY. If you can sing well, maybe you can take some lead vocals - we will definitely use all your talent! We rehearse weekly (generally Tuesdays) in MKE. We feature male and female lead vocals, and cover most pop and rock from the 60's thru today. We play 40-50 shows/year, about 1/2 are private shows and weddings; public shows include some clubs like Bub's Irish Pub or Matty's Bar, as well as Summerfest, State Fair, and other festivals and events. State Fair is already on the books for the year (multiple slots), and we expect to see a Summerfest booking before too long. We do travel modestly -- occassionally shows will require an overnight stay (band or client will cover cost). Gig pay is decent cash, especially in "wedding season" (summer and fall). Professional attitude is expected. We expect you can get yourself to rehearsals and gigs without issue, have professional equipment, and are willing to invest in your rig if/as needed.
