Description
Looking for a good home, stray dog that I think is a pitbull terrier mix. I'm not sure how old she is, I'm guessing between one and two years old. I'm also not sure if she'll be good with kids, she does get a little rough when playing. But she has never snapped at me or my other animals. I have 2 other dogs, a cane corso and chihuahua and she gets along really well with them. I also have cats, she doesn't chase after them and just kind of ignores them. I do believe she is allergic to grains. After a few days of my other dogs food, she kept scratching herself like crazy around her ear and above her tail. She is also kind of potty trained, I've had her about a month and she does understand that she needs to go outside. But she has had a few accidents where I wasn't able to get her outside quick enough. I call her Cal and she kind of responds. (She has cow like markings so I'm not sure if whoever had her before called her cow) One of my relatives found her roaming around their apartment, she was being fed table scraps by the other residents. When she was taken in, she was on the thin side. She had blisters on her paw pads, also cuts and scabs on her ears and stomach. She was covered in urine. I would keep her, but I have too many animals and I just didn't want her to be left out in the cold. I think she would do better with someone who has more time for her. I'm not sure if she is up to date on shots or if she is even fixed. I think she is a good dog overall, she loves playing with toys and has a spunky personality.
I'm not asking anything for her, just that she goes to a good home. She will come with a little bit of food. I'm willing to meet somewhere public and will travel up to 30 minutes out if that means she'll get a good home. Thank you!
