We are seeking an upbeat laborer to help with general housekeeping, detailing, and furniture moving for our Miramar showroom. Hours can vary, days will be Monday-Saturday with a day off, and Sundays off. Primary Duties: Clean showroom floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them. Gather and empty trash daily. Service, clean, and supply restrooms and kitchen daily. Follow procedures for the use of cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to furniture, floors, and fixtures. Move furniture, equipment, and supplies. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Occasionally drive the truck for furniture delivery. Clean and maintain the outside areas of the showroom. Qualifications: Present a positive, professional image. Be able to lift and move heavy furniture. Be able to understand verbal and written instructions. Be self-motivated and customer service oriented. Reliable and predictable attendance. Preferred: Possession of a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles. Previous experience and knowledge of furniture deliver/moving work.
