North Fork Lumber Company is looking to hire a hardworking and motivated Laborer to assist in our Willits log yard. Duties include measuring and bucking logs, placing and maintaining water lines and sprinklers on log decks, operate water truck onsite, vegetation and drainage maintenance and maintaining chainsaws. Other duties may include operating front end and heel boom log loaders and assisting the log scalers as needed. Applicant must be proficient with a chainsaw, have some mechanical knowledge and the ability to traverse log decks. Must also have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
