Food Manufacturing / Production Altoona, IA or Clive, IA Currently looking for individuals to fill immediate long term openings for productions openings with a food manufacturer located in Altoona, IA. Interested candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis and have reliable transportation to Altoona or Clive. Responsibilities of the Food Manufacturing / Production • Perform repetitive work by ensuring quality dough comes down the line, processed properly and packaged • Check items to insure Quality Control Standards are met, and load trays on trailers for delivery. • Accomplish various production assembly functions that are somewhat complicated in nature. • Assemble food products according to verbal or written instructions. Requirements of the Food Manufacturing / Production • Reliable transportation to Altoona or Clive (not on a bus line) • Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8 inch • Ability to read batch records and communicate / follow instructions in English • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis for some positions Compensation for the Food Manufacturing / Production The starting salary for this position ranges from $14.50-$15.85 per hour depending on the shift.
