Press release from the Glenview Public Library: Dear Glenview: To help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep Glenview healthy, the Library building will temporarily close to the public beginning on Saturday, November 21, and will remain closed until at least Monday, December 14. This decision is in response to a recommendation by the Illinois Department of Public Health to help decrease the positivity rate of COVID-19 in our region. While the building is closed to the public, staff will continue to provide the following services: Drive-Up Window Service The Drive-Up Window will be open for picking up materials during the following hours beginning on Saturday, November 21: Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 9 PM Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM Sunday Closed Please note upcoming Library Thanksgiving holiday closings: Wednesday, November 25 at 5 PM Thursday, November 26 Closed Friday, November 27 at 5 PM More information on selecting and checking out items at the Drive-Up Window. Materials Return All external book drops will be open for returning materials 24/7 beginning Saturday, November 21.
