* Full Benefits * Competitive Pay * Great location * The Manager of Training & Quality Control designs, develops, implements and tracks the training and development of managers and technicians in the Maintenance Department. This position reviews diagnostic practices, facilitates customer service improvements and develops processes to ensure that the department operates in a safe, efficient and productive manner. Bachelor’s degree in maintenance or a business related field; At least five years of experience in corporate training, development or compliance; At least 10 years of experience in maintenance management of fleets of more than 1,000 units, including trucks, trailers, industrial equipment, composting equipment, material handlers, conveyors, compactors, excavation equipment, forklifts, welding equipment, pickup trucks, trash trucks and support equipment; At least three years of experience with training and development for high performance teams; Ability to identify deficiencies and implement effective process improvements; Experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations; Working knowledge of general business practices; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite – e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access; Demonstrated critical thinking skills; Solution-oriented with the ability to work well with all levels of staff; Results-oriented with the ability to focus on the bottom line and understand the company’s complexities and nuances; Strong leadership and training skills; and Ability to establish priorities and manage workload. Experience collaborating with workers in multiple facilities and remote locations; Maintenance management or supervisory certificates and training; Knowledge of OSHA regulations; Safety, OSHA and Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) training certificates; and Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) training. Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License; Record of safe driving for the last three years as shown on current MVR, with no serious accidents or traffic violations; and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification. *Texas Disposal Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
