The Mechanic is critically important to our growth and success. The Mechanic performs maintenance & repairs on our very diverse fleet of trucks, trailers, tractors, heavy equipment, snowplows, salt spreaders, small engines, and 2-cycle equipment.
Responsibilities:
Occasional mobile repairs
Complete maintenance & repairs according to industry standards & quality standards deemed acceptable by the company
Efficiently complete maintenance & repairs according to time standards deemed acceptable by the company
Accurately complete required documentation in a timely manner. This includes work orders
Keep assigned work area neat, clean, and organized
Assist & cooperate with coworkers to keep the entire Service Center neat, clean, and organized
Observe and comply with all company policies and safety standards
Requirements:
1-year or more working in a repair facility environment
Prior experience working in the “green” industry is a plus
Able to work assigned schedule, which is Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Able to multi-task, working with multiple projects at one time
Have and utilize one’s own basic mechanic’s tools
Be available in the winter “on-call” 24/7 only during snow events
Must have a valid driver’s license & able to operate company vehicles
Have a positive attitude, be reliable, and demonstrate the qualities of a team player
Compensation:
Hourly, based on experience
