DuPage Care Center Restricts Visits Amid Coronavirus Concerns

WHEATON, IL — As concerns over coronavirus lead to cancellations and closures throughout the U.S., the DuPage County Care Center has restricted access. Volunteers and visitors will be prohibited from visiting the campus at 400 N. County Farm Rd. and only "essential personnel" will be permitted, according to an update on the center's website. Outside activities and trips for residents have also been canceled until further notice. According to its website, DuPage Care Center, formerly called DuPage Convalescent center, has 360 beds on-site and offers "long-term care and short-term rehabilitative" services for residents who are in need.
