Hey friends, The Howard Center Arts Collective is in search of used mailboxes for a public art installation this summer. If you have one that you are willing to donate, please let me know by replying to this ad! If you are in the greater Burlington area, we'll come pick it up from your house. The theme of our art installation is ‘Connections’ and how our approach to connecting with one another has evolved and changed over the decades, and centuries. The US mail service is older than our Constitution and was the only way families, businesses and communities communicated for a significant period of our history. Will the mail system soon fade into obscurity? Will it be replaced by email, text messages and snapchat? When was the last time you wrote a letter to a friend? We appreciate your support!
