Main Job Duties: Water Restoration: Perform water extraction and anti-microbial application. Set up equipment to dry out structures. Monitor moisture levels and take moisture readings. Manage job-file documentation. Possibly cut-out damaged drywall and remove carpet. Restore buildings to their original condition. Mold Remediation: Locate the source of moisture by using moisture meters, thermal imaging, and other specialized equipment. Visually inspect the property to determine what is involved, implement testing procedures if conditions warrant. Isolate the contaminated area and remove the mold while protecting the surrounding areas from the possible spread of mold spores. Dry the affected area to ensure the water source is removed. Clean all components of ducts, air handlers and condensers. Bio-Hazard Process: Wear proper PPE in-order-to maintain safety guidelines. Prepare disinfectants. Spray/apply disinfectant to the contaminated area/s and wait appropriate contact time. Dispose of all absorbent materials and tools into a biohazard bag. Carpet Cleaning: Carpet, upholstery, and content cleaning after disaster occurs. Content move-out and pack-ins. Apply cleaning solutions to pre-treat tough, stubborn stains. Rinse and extract all moisture, dirt, and solutions from carpets. Groom carpets for completion – place pads under furniture during drying process. Perform additional duties as needed. Job Qualifications: • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong work-ethic. • Mandatory on-call schedule rotation for evening and weekend hours. • Must be able to respond to emergency service calls after-hours and during inclement weather. • Must be able to work in personal protection equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection. • Ability to work with/around cleaning products. • Ability to work independently and problem solve with minimal supervision. Requirements for Employment: • Must be able to pass a drug test. • Must be able to pass a background check. • Must have a clean driving record. • Must have a valid driver’s license.
