Flagger / Traffic Control We are a growing barricade company in Phoenix. We are looking dedicated Flaggers to join our team. We are willing to train and assist with certification. General Responsibilities are as follows. Maintain a safe work site. Utilize the Flagger training course we offer. You will be transported to the job site where you will use stop/slow paddles to direct traffic safely through the work zone. As well as complete a daily trip sheet for the job preformed. We vigorously focus on traffic safety, so our clients can focus on their work. Position: Flagging - Traffic direction, and pedestrian control. Also includes traffic control setups and device installations. (Flagging traffic is ensuring the safety of the work environment and pedestrians by being attentive to the flow of traffic and refraining from any distractions.) Position Duties: Report with dispatch line, the night prior for the next days schedule Coordinate with dispatch frequently to ensure a safe, efficient, and problem-free work environment Promptly respond to dispatch for day to day tasks Report any and all unsafe conditions to supervisor as soon as possible Dispatchers will possibly reach out on an off day Physical Requirements: Can lift up to 50lbs Stand for long periods of time Full range of motion of arms and legs no problems doing a squat Ability of full range of movement with arms and hands grip, hold, carry, and lift Ability to raise arms past shoulder height Willingness and ability to work in an outside work environment exposed to Arizona elements Repetitive work movement Able to work in an environment with high noise levels Minimum Requirements Decent customer service and communication skills (both written and oral) Must be a self-starter and able to work independently Able to be on-call Current ATSSA Certification preferred but not required (we will help with state certifications please inquire about job for more information) Second Chance Company - Flagger - Traffic Control - ATSSA
