The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families, and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a custodial worker to join our facilities/maintenance team. You will perform custodial work and general care for our main office to help provide an aesthetically pleasing and functional indoor environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform general labor tasks, such as sweeping, cleaning, dusting and stocking supplies. • Keep facility in clean and orderly condition. • Remove trash from all areas • Sweeps, dust mops, and wet mops all floors • Cleaning in offices, group rooms, restrooms, etc. • Vacuums and spot clean carpets • Utilizes detergents, disinfectants, polishes, finishes, etc. • Moves furniture and equipment as required • Assist with meeting set-up and tear down • Performs other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: • COVID Vaccinated • Custodial workers must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. • Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships. • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred but not required • Two plus years of custodial/janitorial experience • Experience with hand and power tools a plus • Valid driver's license If selected for an interview, please bring a copy of your Driver's License, Social Security card, highest level of education, transcript, certification and licensure (if applicable) with you to the interview appointment.
