Posting Date: Monday, March 7, 2022 Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician Classification: Hourly/non-exempt Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour Closing Date: Monday, March 21, 2022 The Facility Maintenance Technician works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm and a paid on-call rotation. The technician will work with the Maintenance Team to keep the premises of ICAN Housing properties in good repair and in clean/orderly condition. Company vehicle provided for use during work shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintains buildings: performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities including performing repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings. • Performs ground maintenance activities, such as: mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds- along with raking and disposing of leaves and refuse. • Responsible as a member of the team to participate in the turn-over process for units. • May engage in the general cleaning and upkeep of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, power washing and washing windows. • Performs routine maintenance activities to ensure that all mechanical systems are operating to capacity. • Interprets company policies and follows safety regulations. • Maintains time records. Manages credit card purchases and records. Preferred Experience: • High school diploma or GED, and three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Dependability – Is consistent, thorough, and timely in managing administrative functions including time clock, expense reports and proof of purchases for example. • Able to share on call responsibilities. • Valid Driver License required. Must be insurable. COMPENSATION: ● Full-Time (40 Hours per week). ● Rate: $16.50 per Hour. ● Hourly/non-exempt (Overtime if earned, is paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.) ● Paid Time Off (PTO): 6.15 Hours accumulated for every 80 hours worked (ability to earn four [4] weeks [160 hours] of PTO within first year). ● Eight (8) Paid Holidays per Year. ● Employer sponsored Medical and Dental Insurance available. ● Employer paid Disability and Life Insurance. ● 3% Retirement Savings Match. *We are growing.
