EMT/LPN with IV certification/phlebotomy

We are an integrative clinic in Boulder with a very busy IV room looking for another IV certified person for part-time hours. We are a small and busy clinic of naturopathic and medical doctors working as a team for patient care. The ability to work as a team and give excellent service are equally important to this position in a small clinic. This job is perfect for those that are very skilled in IV administration and phlebotomy who want a work-life balance position where they can have independence and be a core part of patient care. You will get a lot of needle work as well as feeling like a part of patient care team. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Current Colorado Drivers License Current Colorado Paramedic, EMT, LPN license or certification preferred Current BLS and ACLS certification required Certification in IV therapy after successfully completing a Colorado IV therapy course and/or, ideally, experience and proficiency in starting IVs and administering infusions preferred At least 1 year of clinical experience Phlebotomy and blood processing knowledge essential Daily duties include: Mix and administer IV Blood draws and processing labs/phlebotomy technician work for conventional labs such as Quest/LabCorp but also for food allergy testing and other alternative labs and therapeutic phlebotomy Charting Communicating with providers about care for patients Checking-in patients and taking vitals IM and SQ injection education and administration Contacting Laboratories for specimen details or patient results when necessary This job is for someone in healthcare who is passionate about alternative medicine.
