Locally owned Label Printing Company located in the Pinemont/290 area is seeking a Kitting Team/General Laborer. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30am – 3pm or 7:00am – 3:30pm, but can vary slightly. You will receive paid holidays + personal days and eligibility to participate in monthly performance bonus program after 90 days of Full-Time employment. You MUST be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Will need to be willing to work occasional overtime and have reliable transportation. No previous experience needed, we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities include: - Inspecting materials for defects, debris, shortages, etc. - Accurately identify, sort, move and process various products and materials - Pull material and supplies for pressmen as needed and per job jacket. - General production floor duties including but not limited to boxing, sorting, use of industry specific machinery, warehouse work, etc. - Ability to work independently with minimal assistance, multitasking is extremely important - Ability to complete work according to priorities and within a timely manner - Able to follow both verbal and written instructions - Attention to detail. - Maintain and assist in raw materials storage, use, etc. - Remove unused stock, skids, etc. from production floor when a job is completed and return to appropriate area in Warehouse - Assist in keeping Warehouse and Production Floor within OSHA and company operating standards - Safely use a hand pallet jack or forklift when needed. - Palletize product - Able to maintain quality of work in a very fast paced environment - Work in other areas of the plant as needed and work at a very fast pace when needed - Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Requirements: - High school diploma or GED equivalent, basic mathematic skills will be required. - Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required. - Able to lift 10-15 lbs. continuously and lift up to 60 +/- lbs. occasionally - Use hands/wrists/shoulders continuously in controlled movement - Physically able to bend, lift and move around and stand for entirety of shift. - Read a ruler accurately down to 1/8” at minimum but prefer down to 1/32” - Comfortable with a detailed process and working at a very fast pace - MUST pass drug and background check Pay rate DOE. **Currently no company benefits offered beyond paid holidays/vacation/sick as noted in Employee Handbook
