Established Hard Rock/Metal project looking for a Bass Player

Meets

San Diego CA

Description

We are looking for a talented, experienced bass player who's interested in joining our classic metal cover band project. We're looking for someone with gear, transportation, and a good attitude. Age, sex, etc. do not matter. What does matter is your ability to play proficiently/accurately, learn the tunes quickly and be punctual to gigs and rehearsals. Our lineup consists of Vocals, Guitars (x2),and Drums, all in our 50s. We have free rehearsal space near I-805/SR905 in south San Diego. We have pro gear, look and sound. We gig and rehearse sober and expect the same from you. Our goal is to rehearse (at first) every week until we are up to speed - then as needed, with a gig a month if possible. We normally rehearse Wednesday evenings after 7pm, but we can be somewhat flexible with this. Outside projects/obligations are fine, as long as you can handle the load and bring your "A" game when you play with us. We'll be covering classic hard rock and metal from the early 80s. If you like Dio (Sabbath and solo), Maiden, Priest, Scorpions, AC/DC, Skid Row, Queensryche, Motley Crue and similar from the time period, then you will enjoy our set and being in the band. Contact us via email with your info and any questions you have first, to see if we're a good fit for each other. To be considered, we will need to see some videos or hear some recordings of your abilities, *within the genre* - so please provide links or files so we can check you out. We will reciprocate.
