Gardening Crew Member Mosher and Associates is a high-end landscape installation, maintenance and management company. We service over 170 homes in the Bloomfield, Bloomfield Hills and Birmingham areas. We are looking to hire a person who is customer friendly and detail oriented for planting and maintaining various residential garden. This position will be 50+ hours during the spring/summer planting season and then taper off once the planting is finished. Weather permitting, this position is available from April 1st through Mid-December or the beginning of sustained snow fall. The work schedule for this position will typically be weather permitting Monday through Friday and if necessary to catch up on tasks, sometimes Saturday work is required. Ability to drive a company vehicle is a plus but not necessary. Gardening Responsibilities: - Garden bed edging - Planting/Install annual flowers as directed - Mulching/raking/fluffing of garden beds - Weeding gardens - Pruning flowers - Fertilizing plants and flowers as directed - Complete project within allotted install times - Make sure plant health is maintained - Report issues needing attention to supervisor Property Management Responsibilities: - Assist with yard and garden spring cleanups including removal of winter debris garden prepering gardens for the planting season - Assist with yard and garden fall cleanups including the trimming and cutting back of perennials, removal of annuals and assist with leaf removals - Perform inspection of property at each property visit, making sure all company services are being performed at the highest level. Other company services include mowing, irrigation, garden lighting, etc. - Report to your supervisor any issues needing to be addressed during our next scheduled gardening and other maintenance visits - Proactively address issues that can be handled personally while on site. Compensation: - Starting minimum of $15/hr. with potential increase based upon displayed knowledge, experience level and ability to drive company vehicles. - Simple Matching IRA up to a maximum of 3%
