Our manufacturing company is seeking out experienced wood grinding operators in the Dallas-Ft Worth area. We are looking for heavy equipment operators who have been lead foreman running horizontal grinding equipment. Only individuals who have previously operated or been certified to operate grinders should apply for this desirable position at a strong and growing company. Wood Grinder Foreman Responsibilities: • Lead foreman for wood grinding equipment. Safely operate heavy equipment (horizontal grinders, crushers, excavators, wheel loaders) on job site(s) • Change out routine wear parts including grinder teeth and screens • Effectively inspect equipment before and after use • Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment (oil and fuel filter change, other fluid maintenance) • Wash and clean equipment on a weekly basis • Feed and run grinder at correct speed to maximize production volumes • Effectively stockpile processed materials on job site(s) • Follow all OSHA and company safety policies • Maintain clean and safe jobsite Wood Grinder Operator Requirements: • Commitment to quality and safety • 2+ years' experience operating horizontal grinders • Positive attitude, have ability to troubleshoot issues when equipment breaks down • Demonstrated ability to receive feedback and alter behavior to fit company culture • Willingness to work overtime when necessary Wood grinder operator Benefits • Competitive hourly and overtime pay • Average work week of 50+ hours • Growth opportunities for those willing to learn and travel • Bonuses for top performers Experienced candidates can apply by emailing their resume.
