Press release from the Village of Glen Ellyn: The State of Illinois Tier 3 Resurgence Mitigations went into effect on November 20, and beginning Monday, November 30, the Village's Civic Center and Public Works facility will be closed to walk-in traffic. Note: The Civic Center will continue to operate with modified hours (8 a.m. - 3 p.m.) on Wednesday, November 25. Additionally, Village offices will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Staff will provide in-person service by appointment only. Please consider conducting Village business over the phone or online, when possible. Village staff continues to be available via email and phone to assist residents and businesses. Finance Department Village business including utility bills and other payments can be conducted online, by mail, or over the phone by calling 630-469-5000. Additionally, the drop box, located in front of the Civic Center, can be used for payment delivery. Community Development Department The Village's Community Development Department continues to operate with new protocols in place to assist customers in submitting building permits and plans electronically.
