Lombard Man Charged With Possessing Child Pornography

LOMBARD, IL — A 74-year-old Lombard man has been charged with possession of child pornography, according to the DuPage County Sheriff's Office. James Murphy, of the 600 block of east Madison Street, faces 11 felony charges after an undercover investigation. Police executed a search warrant of Murphy's home Wednesday. According to police, they found child pornography files on Murphy's "digital electronics." Murphy is set to appear in bond court Thursday.
