Full Time and Part Time Seasonal Positions Available • Full Time: 40-44 Hrs/week • Part Time: Scheduling open to discussion Job Summary: Golf Course Maintenance Grounds Crew The Ipswich Golf Course Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining the 18-hole golf course and practice facilities along with the surrounding grounds of the Ipswich Country Club. Standard work week will be 6 days/week totaling 40-44 hours per week. Work week will run Monday-Friday in addition to working either Saturday or Sunday morning. Workday generally starts at 6am and ends at 2:30pm, start time subject to change based on time of year. Length of season runs from roughly April 1st- December 1st. Responsibilities: • Safe operation of equipment used for mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough. Includes walk behind and ride on equipment. • Operation of standard landscape equipment such as line trimmers, backpack blowers, and push/walk mowers. • Working with team members on a variety of landscape projects such as loaming and seeding, mulching, irrigation and drainage, and a variety of beautification projects. • Performance of routine golf course setup tasks such as (but not limited to) moving tee markers, emptying trash, filling water coolers, etc. • Safe and responsible use of golf carts and other maintenance vehicles such as trucks and tractors. • Routine manual labor required in the upkeep of the golf course and club grounds. This includes (but not limited to) the raking of sand bunkers, debris cleanup, and walk mowing. Qualifications: • Valid Drivers License. • 18 years of age and over preferred. • Ability to lift 50lbs. • Ability/willingness to work early morning hours. • Willingness to work outside in a variety of weather conditions including inclement conditions when necessary. • Willingness to work weekends and holidays. • No prior golf course experience necessary.
