Amplifier Community Connection: The Art of Songwriting with Rico Love Amplifier Program Director Chad Roper will lead a conversation with Grammy-winning hit maker Rico Love Join us for Amplifier’s first Community Connections event of the year with guest Rico Love in conversation with Amplifier Program Director Chad Roper. They will discuss: Rico’s journey to success What makes a song a hit When a great melody meets a great lyrics The business of songwriting and producing The art of collaboration The transition from writing and producing to CEO In addition to the conversation, Milwaukee artists can receive live feedback on their music from Rico Love through Demo Roulette. Artists interested in submitting their music for critique should send an MP3 or WAV file to [email protected] and should plan to be physically present at the event on March 26. The event is free and open to the public at Radio Milwaukee's Walker's Point studios, though in-person seating will be limited in order for attendees to social distance. The event will also be streamed live on Radio Milwaukee and Amplifier's Facebook pages. Proof of vaccination must be presented upon entry. Masks are required to enter the event. * Not all songs submitted for Demo Roulette will be selected.
