Description
I’m Daniel. Im a 38 year old white dude that just moved to Vancouver, WA from Mississippi. I’ve seen thousands of people die in hospitals, I’ve dealt with a lot of poverty and suffering. I’m dying to express it. I’ve only recently begun the journey of delving into electronic music for the past 6 months. I have no real musical background. I have very little understanding of music theory. My background is healthcare, and I also used to film and edit home videos. I’ve realized music is often more interesting when multiple people work together. I need someone to bounce ideas off of and harmonize with and be vulnerable with and just experiment with. I have a small Modular synth rack, I have 2 midi controllers, I have a MacBook with GarageBand but will soon have ableton. I also have a shitty 80’s Yamaha drum machine (rx15) and a DL6 looper pedal and mic and audio interface. I do not understand how to work all of this stuff in coordination yet nor have I mastered hardly any of it, but I just keep messing around with it and I find that I’m making more and more musical sounds as time goes on. Would love to find someone that is willing to just commit to meeting up occasionally and making racket. You could have any type of instrument, I honestly don’t care. I want to find ways to adapt and incorporate any new sound into the fold. Just feeling each other out and finding new sounds that don’t exist yet. I’m in my infancy, so if you’re very advanced and will be bored or frustrated around a rookie, it won’t work. I guess ultimately what I’m trying to do is make some musical friendships! See you around!
