Join Columbus Gives Back in picking up litter around I-70 for this annual city-wide of clean-up day! KickButtColumbus! is an annual spring highway ramp clean up event created to remove blighted conditions from our city's exit and entry ramps after winter thaw and raise awareness about the hazards of cigarette butt litter to the environment. KickButtColumbus! takes place the third Saturday in March. Where: Our Columbus Gives Back group is covering I-70 Exit 102. This is the Miller/Kelton exit just east of downtown. Supply pick-up and safety instructions are at Wolfe Park at 8:30am. If you can meet us there, that would be great. If not, please meet our group on the Kelton Ave. entrance ramp (westbound, southside of the highway) When: Saturday, March 19th (8:30/9:00am - 12:00pm) Event Leaders: [email protected] COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. Masks and social distancing are still required for all indoor events. About Keep Columbus Beautiful: Keep Columbus Beautiful is a City of Columbus community improvement program and a national affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. KCB focuses on public education and volunteer service related to quality of life environmental issues including litter, recycling and beautification. About Columbus Gives Back: We love Columbus, young professionals, and getting involved! Our mission is to connect young professionals across central Ohio and engage them in our communities through 35-40 social volunteer and philanthropic opportunities per month. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local!
