About SixFoxWhiskey: Brad Moreno - Guitar / Vocals / KeysTyler Davis - Drums / VocalsThomas Yannopoulos - Bass / VocalsDan Felix - Saxophone / VocalsChris Ballerini - Guitar / Vocals “We’ll play for free, we’ll play if no one’s listening, we just want to play,” says SixFoxWhiskey’s drummer, Tyler Davis. Thankfully for SixFoxWhiskey, people are listening, and it is their unique intersection of jazz, jam, funk, and rock that has propelled them into becoming one of the fastest growing bands in New England. SixFoxWhiskey has held featured spots at major festivals like Levitate Music & Arts Festival, Rhode Island Music & Arts Festival, and Strangecreek, and they’ve performed at venues like the Stone Pony, Toad’s Place, and Brighton Music Hall. They’ve shared the stage with national touring acts like Ripe, The Magic Beans, Kitchen Dwellers, Kung Fu, and The Elovaters. Zach Bloomstein of 37’ Productions aptly describes what makes the band stand out: “I’ve worked with a lot of bands and seen a lot of music, and these guys are doing something a little different. They’re being themselves, which is part of what makes them unique and special.” In the end, it’s feel-good music, think-hard music, get-down music, and their latest album, Naughty Air, is the manifestation of these sensations. Their third album in four years recorded with award-winning producers Sean McLaughlin (Matchbox 20, Percy Hill, Tony Savarino) and Zach Bloomstein (Chris Robinson, Joe Perry, Chuck McDermott)at renowned Massachusetts-based 37’ Productions, Naughty Air opens with “Betty,” a funky song that highlights the band’s strong melodic writing, driven largely by the seemingly effortless vocals of Chris Ballerini. Naughty Air weaves through different vibes, ranging from jam-odysseys that highlight the virtuosity of Dan Felix on saxophone and Brad Moreno on lead guitar in “Common Ground” and “Oh Ya!” to punchy rock jams like “Crossroads” that feature super-tight rhythmic structures from Tyler Davis on drums and Tommy Yannopoulos on bass. The album is reminiscent of Steely Dan, Vulfpeck, The Dave Matthews Band, and Dopapod. Naughty Air provides a wide range of musicality and SixFoxWhiskey is excited to bring it across the US as they tour from Maine to Colorado in 2020. “Oh ya!”- it’s going to be a fun year. About The Quins: The Quins are not afraid to embrace their roots in classic rock, blues, punk, and soul in a way that doesn’t feel overdone and fits into a contemporary market that spans multiple genres. Their live shows reach a level of energy that engages the crowd, brings them closer together and shows the younger generation that guitars are still cool. Existing in the vein of their heroes Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Grateful Dead, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix and The Eagles, The Quins should've been born in 1942 like the rock legends of old. They are not intimidated by the modern times and embrace the fact that they may have to stand alone fighting to the death for what Rock and Roll truly is: unapologetic, raw, and real. They have released three full length LP's and four singles in the last 5 years and have been constantly gigging all over the Northeastern U.S., steadily making a name for themselves in the rock and festival scenes. They have shared bills with the likes of Stephen Marley, Slightly Stoopid, Samantha Fish and Lake Street Dive. Since the release of their sophomore LP, “Beech Hill”, in December of 2017, The Quins have received attention in the press and were nominated for the 2018 New England Music Award for Best Rock Act and 2019 band of the year. They've been invited to perform at high profile festivals such as the Levitate Music and Arts Festival the Boston Freedom Rally and the Terptown Throwdown. Now their third and most ambitious album yet, symbolically titled, “The Woods Look Good” is available everywhere. Full of different styles, flavors, and even more diversity, The Woods Look Good elevates The Quins to an all new height and is set to launch them into orbit.
