Bass player looking for low-key prog rock/metal/pop jamming

I have been playing since high school, and of all the instruments I play, bass is where I'm most versatile. I would enjoy jamming/practicing prog rock/metal or pop originals (or covers); I don't have my own songs, but I am a fast learner. Influences include but are absolutely not limited to: Hallas, Enslaved, Ihsahn, Yes, Radiohead, Byrds, Magdalena Bay, Zombi... all over the place. I don't have a practice space or a cabinet amp, but I have a very adequate practice amp and transportation in the greater Bellingham area. Available evenings and weekends.
