Description

Join us for our next Pop-up Farm Market featuring a Seed Exchange and Kids Spring Planting Kits! Join us for our Pop-up Farm Market featuring a Seed Exchange and Kids Spring Planting Kits! Saturday, March 19, 2022 1 - 3 pm Pop-up Farm Market Buy produce and more from Common Good City Farm, Franklin Sustainable Farm, and Dreaming out Loud at our Pop-up Farm Market! We will continue to offer a pay-what-you-can model. When we ring you up at the market, we will provide a suggested retail price. However, if you are unable to pay that amount or have additional resources and would like to support our food access efforts, you can pay more, less, or the suggested amount (this is a self assessment of your ability to pay- no questions asked and no explanation necessary). We are hoping that by offering this pricing flexibility, this will allow the greatest number of people to access the produce needed. Pre orders will be available at a later date so RSVP now and we will send an email when we can start accepting pre-orders as well as the pre-order deadline. Pre-order for the Farm Market here: https://commongoodcityfarm.square.site/ Seed Exchange Do you have more Swiss chard seeds than you need, but not enough cherry tomato seeds? Then come to our Seed Exchange! Bring your extra seeds to the start of the event. We also have plenty from the farm to share, so you are welcome to join in and take home seeds even if you don't have any to bring. We will display all of the seeds available and you can come and choose which seeds you would like to take. Kids Spring Planting Kits Looking for activities to do at home with your kids? Pick up a spring planting kit from Common Good! The LEAF program is putting together spring planting kits for youth in our community. We will also have a painting station for kids to decorate a pot before taking them home to plant. We are offering the kits and supplies for free, but if you are able to support we suggest a donation of $10 per kit. Pick up will be next to the main gate entrance of the farm. COVID-19 Safety: We do ask that people continue to wear masks when entering the farm space for the time being as the farm welcomes a mixed crowd of people who may not be vaccinated yet and/ or immunocompromised.
