In this class, you'll learn everything from buying florals, harmonious color palettes, keeping flowers alive longer, to creating a centerpiece fit for a wedding. This is the perfect chance to drink wine with friends (maybe even make a new bud) and go home with a burst of joy! AKA a stunning and colorful centerpiece. Great for beginners, folks wanting to create their own event florals or a budding florist. All are welcome! Meet your teacherLorena Cortez (she/her) is our resident florist and has been teaching Floral Design since 2013. She has created for over 400 weddings, was the main Florist for the Giants Stadium, and knows the industry like the back of her hand. Lorena decided to fully focus on teaching as of 2020 since it brings her great joy to share her love of flowers with others. She has taught for countless students and companies including Everlane, Pinterest, Macy’s, Sony, Palantir, Lob, Airbnb, Sephora, Zendesk, The Women’s Building, and on. Notes: All materials will be provided. Students receive 20% off Mellow store items. BYOB ok, must be 21+ to consume alcohol.
