Dr. David T. Neuman: Embracing Technology to Allow Elders and Their Caregivers To Stay as Independent and Pain-Free as Possible David is a serial Doctorpreneur, author, inventor and owner of NY Sportscare, located in New York City. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialty training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Neuman’s professional memberships include the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America where he also serves as an instructor. David performed over 400 surgeries a year during his 15-year career as an operating surgeon. His sports medicine philosophy resulted in excellent outcomes as he focused on restoring each patient’s functional ability at work, play or sports. When a hand injury ended his career in the operating room, he turned to surgical consulting and his passion for promoting physical therapy, non-invasive early interventions, prevention and fitness as ways to prevent or mitigate joint surgeries. David’s new path led to writing books, international speaking internationally and ultimately in creating Pop-Doc.
