GENEVA, IL — Residents in and around Geneva can help save lives amid the coronavirus pandemic by donating blood Wednesday at Fox Valley Orthopedics. The company is set to host a mobile blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at 2535 Soderquist Court, according to a news release.
Everyone who donates blood at the Versiti Blood Center's mobile drive will receive a to-go meal from Panera Bread, and anyone who tries to donate will be entered into a raffle, the release states.

The mobile blood drive will accept walk-ins, but residents are being encouraged to register before arriving. Residents will need to show a photo ID, the release states.

Only one person will donate blood at a time to ensure social distancing can be maintained, and all donors are required to wear masks, the release states. Versiti staff will screen donors for symptoms and measure their temperatures before they can give blood, according to the release.
