GENEVA, IL — One Geneva store has closed its doors to shoppers "out of an abundance of caution" amid a sustained surge in coronavirus cases and hospitalizations in the region. Mike Simon, who owns The Little Traveler, said customers will not be welcomed back inside the store "until the COVID-19 rates in our area significantly decrease." Simon encouraged customers to call the store at 630-232-4200 to set up shopping appointments on an online video platform or through social media. The Little Traveler features three dozen features rooms inside a Victorian home at 403 S. Third St. in Geneva. The shop's staff curates a unique experience within each room, displaying fashion, home decor and a number of other gifts and pieces.
