Stokes Adobe, a restaurant in a two-story historical home in downtown Monterey, is looking for a part-time cleaner for our restaurant. Schedule: Thursday-Tuesday from 9am-2pm • This position is responsible for performing daily and scheduled deep cleaning and sanitation of the restaurant • Maintain a clean, safe and hazard-free environment, while adhering to all restaurant sanitation, health and safety guidelines • Perform daily and weekly deep cleaning and sanitation of the restaurant, including: bathrooms, dining rooms, high-contact surfaces, and common areas • Empty and properly dispose of all trash and recycling • Notify management of any issues or damage with equipment or with the restaurant itself • Handle cleaning chemicals as directed, including: safe use, storage and disposal of chemicals, following all safety guidelines and procedures • Ensure compliance with all Company policies & procedures, as well as state and county and guidelines. This includes health and safety standards. • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management
