Great Opportunity in South Fresno Location JOB DESCRIPTION To provide a variety of hydraulics and lubrication equipment repair/ installation, minor fabrication, low voltage wiring, welding, and assembly. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prioritize daily work; inspect damaged equipment; determine materials needed for repair; establish design and fabrication layouts; perform repairs or fabrications as appropriate; maintain records of work performed. Operate and maintain a variety of equipment including impacts, drills, measuring tape, level, pipe threader, tri-square, hand tools, and other similar equipment and machinery in repairing and installing lubrication equipment. Familiarity with hydraulics and plumbing, using pipe, tubing, metal, and other materials. Ability to fabricate small parts and brackets (welding, cutting, finish grinding is a plus) Participate in a variety of activities involving travel between various locations for repair or installation. EXPERIENCE Responsible experience in basic repair and fabrication preferred. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES Possession of a valid California driver's license and provide evidence of a clean driving record. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Basic mechanical repair techniques. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Basic principles of hydraulics. Methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in Industrial trades Locate, diagnose, and repair a variety of problems related to lubrication, hydraulics, low voltage wiring. ABILITY TO: Travel and perform manual labor in the field. Pass a medical physical examination and drug test.
