This book club is for business owners & entrepreneurs in St Petersburg and Tampa Bay looking to learn and grow with business-minded peers This book club is for business owners and entrepreneurs in Tampa Bay that are looking to have meaningful dialogue with other business-minded peers from different industries for a more fully comprehensive view into our constantly evolving economic atmosphere. This group is free to join but you will have to buy the book the group decides to read for the following month. The books selected are not meant to be hard to read. The books selected were selected for their concepts that can be easily understood and put into practice. The idea is to pick one book each month that is roughly 300 pages and to read/annotate 10 pages each day. We will break down our annotations from each of the readings and walk away with some meaningful lessons we can apply for the upcoming work week. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Below is a list of the proposed readings for each of the upcoming months. This may be subject to change depending on group vote and so forth. January: "The ONE Thing" - Gary Keller" February: "Tax-Free Wealth" - Tom Wheelwright, CPA March: "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" - Robert Kiyosaki April: "Never Split the Difference" - Chris Voss May: "The Changing World Order" - Ray Dalio June: "Getting to Yes" - Fisher, Ury and Patton July: "How to Win Friends and Influence People" - Dale Carnegie August: "DOTCOM Secrets" - Russell Brunson September: "Extreme Ownership" - Jocko Willink October: "Zero to One" - Peter Thiel November: "Backable" - Suneel Gupta December: "Think and Grow Rich" - Napoleon Hill ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Each group meeting will start by discussing how members were able to impliment something from the previous week's reading. (15 Minutes) Followed by discussing the annotations and context of the current reading from the previous week. (30 Minutes) Followed by discussing how we might impliment our new takeaways into our upcoming weeks. (15 Minutes)
