Get your Minnesota Permit To Carry, or get a certificate for a loved one. Makes a great stocking stuffer!! Owning and carrying a firearm as a civilian is much different than doing so in the military or in law enforcement. Experience matters, and our owner was among the first to be certified to teach the permit-to-carry class under the Minnesota Citizen's Personal Protection Act of 2003. We train on the practicalities of owning and carrying a firearm as a civilian, because when seconds count the police are just minutes away! This class is designed for students that are already familiar with firearms. If you need an intro please take our "Firearms 101" class before attempting this one. Range tests will not be given until students can demonstrate safe weapon handling and familiarity. It will be an in-depth discussion of Minnesota Statute 624.714, the MN Citizens Personal Protection Act. Other topics include the mechanics of daily carry, what happens during and after a defensive gun use, and routine police encounters. Price includes all classroom fees. Range fees of $20 payable to Metro Gun Club and covers range time, eye & Ear protection, and target. Ammunition and firearm rental not included.
