GENEVA, IL — A 22-year-old Geneva man is facing a misdemeanor DUI charge after police alleged he fell asleep in the Geneva Commons parking lot after using drugs and alcohol. Nicholas Pappas was charged last month with driving under the influence of intoxicating compounds of alcohol and drugs, according to Kane County court records. Geneva Restaurant Closes After Potential Coronavirus Exposure Police allege they found Pappas sleeping in his car around 11:30 p.m. Sept. 26 outside DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse in the Geneva Commons parking lot, according to a report by the Kane County Chronicle.
