The water main break has been resolved and the water color should be returning to normal. The Water Department advises that if you are experiencing discolored (brown) water, run the cold water for 5 minutes to clear the line into your home or business. If the water doesn't become clear in 5 minutes, shut it off and wait one hour for the disturbance to settle or pass, and then try again. If the problem persists, please contact the Water & Sewer Division directly at 978-318-3250. Thank you for your patience.
