FRANKFORT, IL — After a shutout win, Lincoln-Way East won the IHSA Class 8A football championship. The Griffins defeated Warren High School 12-0 Nov. 30 at Northern Illinois University to capture its third state title. The community celebrated the team with a parade Sunday, which ended with a trophy presentation at Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort. The Griffins were undefeated this season.
