Nymeria is a 6 year old Brittany dog mix in need of a loving home. She is roughly 40 lbs of pure love and has strong hunting instincts. Her ideal home would be a farm or large piece of land with small game like birds, squirrels, gophers, or rabbits to chase. She would also be happy with anyone who likes to run. She can go about six miles at a fast pace without tiring out. She's great with kids, but is high energy, so is not an ideal companion for a toddler. She is fully house and kennel trained and obeys all simple commands. She has shared a kennel with a male chihuahua her entire life. I rescued her at 6 months after she was attacked by a female dog in her previous home. She is a bit skiddish around females due to this, but warms up with time. She is not cat friendly, as she is a small game breed. She is a wonderful companion and would not be separating from our family if there was any other option. We are moving overseas and it would cost roughly $15k to take her along, which is money that we simply don't have. We have no desire to part with her and are doing so with heavy hearts. We are desperate to find her a new home in the next two weeks, so please contact me asap with any interest or if you know of any no-kill rescues that will take her in.
