Description
Hello, My family is in need of a forever loving home for our 5 MONTH OLD (almost 6) Pure American Doberman male puppy. WHAT TO LOVE ABOUT THIS DOBIE PUPPY: -Very loving, affectionate, smart, energetic, highly trainable, & super treat motivated! 🐶🦴 -Knows sit, lie down, head down, leave it (for treats), “get up” (on a chair/couch), & working on “get off” -Great on the leash (I use a headcollar, No need for a prong or choke collar!) -When feeding him, he happily runs to & waits in his crate until permitted to eat.🥺❤️ -NEVER fed him cheap food, I rather pay more for better quality food for the sake of his long-term health -Tail docked, dewclaws removed -Up to date on exam, vaccines (Rabies, Bordetella, DAPParvo, Leptospirosis, Influenza), dewormed, on flea/tick med, & no health issues -*NO SIGNS OF ANY AGGRESSION TO OUR DOGS (even if they try to nip him) OR EVEN OUR 2 GUINEA PIGS! *He’s slow to warm up with people but just gotta keep socializing him since he’s still a young pup! *Not fixed yet (vet said wait longer for lrg breed), but can happily arrange during adoption if preferred to fix now. BACKGROUND: We purchased him from a family who was moving out of state, and couldn’t take him. I worried someone would use him for breeding or that he’d end up at a shelter, so my mom couldn’t say no to at least fostering him at her house (I live in an apt so I can’t). Sadly, we can’t keep him any longer b/c our 3 senior dogs can’t tolerate his size (~45 lbs currently)/strength/high puppy energy (very mouthy). I don’t want my little ones unintentionally getting hurt even though he’s simply wanting to play constantly. We thought our 38 lb male mutt would love to play w/ him like he did w/ a puppy I fostered for a rescue, but my dog shows no interest in playing w/ our dobie pup. 😥 **He needs an owner familiar w/ a large breed and a sibling to play w/ b/c he’s always trying to play with our 2 little ones but they're just too small & delicate for him.💔** Rehoming fee of $800 (includes his food/favorite toys/treats/blanket/crate to get started if you’d like!) Fee negotiable if you can provide the ideal home! Sorry if the price seems high but we just want to at least get back what we paid for him on the first day, even though we’ve spent at least 2x as much for his expenses. (food/treats/toys/potty pads/crates/beds/clothes/training supplies/vet exams/vaccines/deworming/flea+tick medication/etc), not to mention all the dedicated training money/time, + gas money (3-5 hrs driving/wk) I invested to train him on my days off work.. Tysm for reading. If interested, email me, and I’ll try to reply fast! If seriously interested in adopting him, I’ll give my # to set up a meet n greet 😊 Pls share if you know someone who may be interested. 🙏❤️🐾
