College Credits: Students Graduate, Make Fall Dean's List

Students from area towns like Frankfort and Mokena recently made the fall Dean's List or graduated from their university. The following information was provided by Merit Pages News: Luke Pierre Loeffel, of Frankfort, has been named to Clarkson University's Dean's List Luke Pierre Loeffel, of Frankfort, a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2020 semester at Clarkson University. Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours. Fall 2020 Dean's List at Olivet Nazarene University To qualify for inclusion on the Dean's List, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale. The following students made Dean's List: Karly Binnendyk of Mokena James Bowlds of Mokena Katerine Chavez Zepeda of MokenaNicole Kliestik of Mokena Carson Lau of Mokena Austin Konagel, of Frankfort, Graduates from The University of Tampa Austin Konagel, of Frankfort, graduated from The University of Tampa on Dec. 5. Konagel graduated with a Master of Science in Exercise and Nutrition Science. The virtual commencement ceremony included 618 undergraduate and graduate candidates. The ceremony included remarks by UT President Ronald Vaughn, James S. MacLeod, chair of UT's Board of Trustees, Leslie Jones, UT assistant dean of the College of Social Sciences, Mathematics and Education, and the student challenge speaker. Additionally, each graduate received a personalized video commemorating their achievement.
